Lucija Klun received MA in Sociology of Culture at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. In 2019 she began her PhD studies at the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana. During her studies she participated in various projects, concerned with researching and exceeding marginalization of social groups, based on ethnicity, social status, and other involuntary attributes. She continues her work under the mentorship of Dr. Jure Gombač She is currently focusing on the field research of »childhoods on the move« - childhoods lived by children during protracted migration through the European Borderlands, with the focus on so-called Balkan route.
Research interests: migration, minority groups, sociology of education, sociology of childhood, social pedagogy
