The bilateral project between ZRC SAZU and Bucknell University, USA, will focus on recording sources of the history of Slovenian emigration to the United States in Slovenian and American institutions, on familiarising with each other's work in the field of migration studies, on confronting the topics and research issues of the social, political and cultural history of Slovenians in the United States since the 1880s, and on planning joint initiatives for further cooperation.
