The two-year project took place in cooperation with the Scientific Research Center Koper. The basic goal of the project was to record the state of expatriate archival, museum and library material in situ and to train young people - expatriates for further work with old and emerging material. In the first year, field work was carried out among Slovenians in Australia, and in the second year, field work was carried out among Slovenians in some Western European countries. Based on this, the documentation and information center of the Institute for Slovenian Emigration was supplemented. The result of the project was the establishment of the Historical Archive for Slovenes in Australia - New South Wales HASA - NSW (The Historical Archive for Slovenes in Australia - New South Wales)
The results of the project were published in the form of articles in the newsletter Archives, vol. 27, no. 2., 2004.
